Financial Freedom – I was a bit off from last month. It seems that I was a little too ambitious about how much my monthly spending budget would be without taking into account my dad’s birthday among various other things. I need to forecast expenses a bit better to know when I’ll be out of credit card debt. Also, as a side effect of aggressively paying down my credit card debt, my interest expenses have gone down dramatically, so I have a bit more wiggle room in terms of either applying those cost savings back to debt or use it towards expenses that act as a force multiplier and keep me on track. I already upgraded to a Daytum premium account and I love the fact that I can track even more and be cognizant of tracking the things that matter, visually.
Career (+) – I definitely have to stay on top of my game. That will entail me needing to get really fucking good at Excel within a reasonable timeframe. Thank goodness I bought access to the Udemy Beginner to Advanced Excel course a while back. It’s still tied to Data Visualization which is my primary interest, which is good. Beyond that, I’ll have to diversify and employ different link building strategies, to completely move towards a new “toolbox” of tactics for client work. Some things that can be employed are blog commenting, broken link requests and email requests.
Fitness Phenonenon (++) – I hit my target of 4 times at the gym. More than ever, consistency of going to the gym is key – no matter how short. Let’s see if I can continue with 4 visits to the gym a week.
